Good-bye Nic, Hello & Good-bye Pete, Joar, & Jessie!

My husband saw Nic leave and was able to get a few photos of him departing.  After ski lessons today we waited for the pack of Pete, Joar and Jessie to arrive.  They pulled in, grabbed some things from their food bags, Joar snacked his dogs, and they all left about as fast as I am writing this little bit----AMAZING!

Unalakleet Checkpoint Nicolas Petit arrival!

No comments from me as I need to get out for a ski!  I will update later . . . I will say his team is looking stellar bright eye, happy, fast into the checkpoint.  Nic was a hoot!  He was given his gold coast gold and an amazing carving!  As he shook the mayor's hand he said, "You are going to want to wash that hand right away!"
